INDIVIDUAL PSYCHOLOGICAL THERAPY
At Little Gems Psychology, we provide individual psychological therapy services to help our clients overcome their mental health concerns and improve their overall well-being. Our therapy services are tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual, and we are committed to providing compassionate and evidence-based care.
ASSESSMENT SERVICES
We offer comprehensive psychological assessments to help diagnose and treat a range of mental health conditions, including ADHD assessments and Autism assessments, as well as cognitive and learning assessments. If you require a formal assessment, please get in touch to discuss your needs.
REFERRAL INFORMATION AND FEES
Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) - Book a double/long appointment with your General Practitioner (GP) to obtain a referral under the Australian Government’s Better Access to Mental Health Care initiative. Medicare provides rebates on session fees for up to 10 sessions in a calendar year. A review with your GP is required after the initial six sessions to determine your eligibility for further sessions. A Paediatrician can also complete a MHCP and referral.
$230 for a 50 minute session.
The current Medicare rebate for a Clinical Psychologist is $145.25. The gap payment or out of pocket cost after the rebate is $84.75.

NDIS Self-managed Participants - Psychology sessions can be claimed if they are in line with your NDIS goals.
$230 for a 50 minute session.

Private Health - Please contact your private health service to determine if they cover psychology sessions under your current level of cover and any further details. The out of pocket cost will vary - please check this prior to booking or attending.
$230 for a 50 minute session.

Private funding - You may choose to pay for sessions without using any other funding sources.
